# Where did Games and Generate Games go?

> CCM's Games list, Game edit form and Generate Games screen are the Draws tab of a league; the classic view keeps the Games section, its toolbar and the generator form.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Games live on a league's **Draws** tab (new look) or in the **Games** section after picking a league (classic view).
  * The schedule stays editable after it is generated: reschedule a draw, add or delete a game, change teams, mass-edit, import from CSV.
  * **Generate Games** works by weekday, sheet and division pool, and two-night leagues are fine in both views. CCM's three options — **End Date for Schedule?**, **Show game against "Nobody" when there's a bye?** and **Balanced playing sheets?** — work, in the classic screen and in the new look's generator.
  * The generator skips the club's enabled holidays (**Registrations → Holidays**) and says which league nights it skipped.
</Note>

## The Games list (classic view)

Pick a league, then **Games**. The list has CCM's columns — teams, sheet, date/time, published, the two sides with points and ends won — and the toolbar: New, Publish/Unpublish, Edit, **Mass edit**, **Result entry**, Delete, **Generate Games**, the CSV import template and **Import Games Using CSV File**, **Sync to Calendar** and Extract to Excel. **Delete** deletes the ticked rows; wiping the whole season is a separate button so a mis-click cannot empty a league. The **Edited By** column names whoever last saved each game's result, from any screen — staff or a member (a migrated club keeps the names CCM showed). **Sync to Calendar** opens Today's Ice on the league's first game night, where the league's games already sit beside bookings and events; there is nothing to copy across. The **Select a League** dropdown above the list switches it to another league.

**Edit** on a game opens CCM's 16-field form: published, league, round, division, date and time, sheet, the two teams, each team's volunteer duty, and per-side points and ends won.

## Generate Games

The form keeps CCM's shape: a round select, team multi-selects per division, sheet checkboxes, weekday checkboxes, up to three game times each with its own division, the schedule start date, an optional end date, the number of round-robin cycles, **Balanced playing sheets?** and **Show game against "Nobody" when there's a bye?**. Before it writes anything it explains what it is about to do — how many games, on which nights and sheets.

* **End date.** Round robins are added until every league night up to the end date has games, and nothing is scheduled after it.
* **"Nobody".** On a night when one team in a pool sits out, it gets a "\{team} vs Nobody" game with Sheet **none**, which takes no result and never counts in standings. As in CCM, none are added on a night with only one sheet and one game time.
* **Balanced playing sheets? No.** Each draw's games take the ticked sheets in listed order.

A league night that falls on one of the club's enabled holidays is stepped over, exactly as if you had typed that date into the exclusions yourself, and the message lists it: **Skipped holidays:** followed by the dates. That applies in both views and to a fill as well as a full regenerate.

## The Draws tab (new look)

The same schedule is a grid of draws and sheets. **Generate schedule** has the same options as the classic screen: **League nights** (a checkbox per weekday), **Last league night (optional)**, **Balance playing sheets** and **Show a game against "Nobody" for a bye**; "Nobody" games sit in a **No sheet** column. Clicking a game shows **Result last saved by \{name}** once it has a result. **Edit draw** — "Rename this draw or move every game on it to another date and time." **Add game** — "Place one game on a date, time and sheet — a playoff, make-up or exhibition game. Leave a side as TBD to fill it in later." Each game's **Schedule** panel lets you "Move this game to another date, time or sheet, or change who plays." Changing the teams on a game that already has a result asks you to **Clear result and change teams**. Games can also be dragged across the grid.

**Print score sheets** prints one sheet per game for the **Score sheet date** you pick — the replacement for CCM's Team Score Sheet.

The draw optimiser (fairness panel, locks, fill-around-locks) is a separate module that is off for a CCM club until enabled; without it you see the plain generate / regenerate / edit grid.

**Bye requests** are new too — CCM's generator had no requested nights off — and are off until a superadmin enables them. With them on, the Draws tab gains a **Bye requests** panel, members can ask from **My Teams**, and both generators place requesting teams on that night's bye; the classic **Generate Games** screen reports **N of M bye requests honoured** in its result line.
