# What stays the same when my club moves from CCM?

> The screens, words, workflows and links a CCM club keeps after moving to Uplifter Curling — and the short list of what is renamed.

<Note>
  **Must know**

  * Every com\_curling admin screen has a twin for staff, in the **classic view**, with the same section names: Home · Leagues · Games · Points · Rounds · Divisions · Teams · Sheets · Membership Types · Subs · Volunteer Roles · Volunteers · Reports · Maintenance.
  * Members get the new pages on the club site — every CCM member page has one, with the CCM page names, and there is no classic view for members.
  * Your club's words — Subbing or Sparing, Round/Draw/Flight, Division/Pool — come across with the import and are used everywhere.
  * Old Joomla bookmarks redirect to the matching page.
</Note>

## What stays

**The same jobs, the same names.** A migrated club's staff start in the classic view, a reproduction of the CCM admin look built from screenshots of the real thing: admins and convenors see com\_curling's section bar. Members get the new pages, which keep CCM's jobs and most of its names — **My Information**, **My Subbing Availability** (or Sparing), **My Teams**, **My Time Tracking**, **Sub Lists**, **Free Agents**, **Member Search**, **Email a League**, the league pages with CCM's three standings views and **Membership Signup** — most of them one click from the club site's **My Account** page (`/account`). See [Where did the rest of the Member Menu go?](/ccm/what-changes/where-did-the-member-menu-go).

**The same data.** Members, their profile answers, payment history, leagues, teams, games, points, standings, sub lists, volunteer roles, lockers and facility-calendar bookings come across; standings are recomputed from your own game data and compared to CCM's before a migration is called done.

**The same results model.** New leagues record **league points** per game, per round × division, exactly as CCM's points grid did, and the standings show CCM's nine columns and three views.

**The same signup shape.** The signup wizard, with the club's own Step 1 fields, positions, play-with, league ranking, priced options and a Confirm step, and **Pay at the club or by mail** for clubs that take cheques. Members use it in the new look; staff registering someone at the desk can use CCM's classic proxy tool.

**The same links.** `index.php?option=com_curling&view=…` and `administrator/index.php?option=com_curling&task=…` addresses redirect to the page that does the job now.

## What is renamed

| CCM said | Uplifter Curling says (new look) | Where |
| - | - | - |
| League | League (a kind of program) | **Registrations → Leagues** |
| Subs / Spares | Your club's word — the **Subs** or **Spares** tab | Club Settings → Club terminology |
| Round / Draw / Flight | Your club's word | League Setup |
| Division / Pool | Your club's word | League Setup |
| Membership Types | Memberships | **Members → Memberships** |
| Maintenance | Seasons | **Registrations → Seasons**; the classic **Maintenance** page explains what each CCM reset maps to |
| Curling TV | Club Displays | **Settings → Club Displays** |
| Facility Calendar → Resources | Facilities | **My Organization → Facilities** |
| Facility Calendar → Calendar | Today's Ice | **My Organization → Today's Ice** |
| Community Builder profile | My Information / member profile | `/account/profile` |
| Joomla groups | Access Levels | **Settings → Access Levels** |
| Joomla articles and menus | Website builder | **Website** |

One naming trap: a club whose schedule-segment word is **Draw** will also see "Draws" as the name of the ice-time tab on a league. That is two different things, and CCM showed both words too.
